Privacy Policy
This document explains what personal data RodSense processes, why, and for how long. If you do not agree, you may choose not to create an account.
The operator details and contact address are not filled in yet (the reserved example.com domain is in use). This document is not ready for publication as-is.
1. Data Controller

2. Legal Basis for Processing
Processing is carried out on the basis of your consent as a data subject (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) and, where applicable, for the performance of a contract to which you are a party (Art. 6.1.b).
3. Purposes of Processing
- Authentication and access to the management panel.
- Synchronization of settings between the web panel and the local agent.
- Sending technical notifications (with your consent).
- Aggregated analytics to improve the service.
4. Categories of Data
- Email and display name.
- Phone (optional, E.164 format).
- OAuth provider IDs (Google, Telegram, VK, Yandex, Apple) when linked to your account.
- IP address and User-Agent at the time of consent — for audit (GDPR Art. 7.1).
- Information about devices connected through the agent.
- Game and app usage data stays on your computer: the agent keeps it in a local SQLite database and does not upload it by default.
5. Retention Periods
- Account data: until account deletion + 30 days.
- Consent log (ConsentLog): 5 years.
- Session tokens: 24 hours.
6. Your Rights
- Request a copy of all data we hold (Art. 15 GDPR).
- Rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16) via your profile or by emailing privacy@rodsense.example.com.
- Erase your account and related data (Art. 17).
- Withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7.3).
- Lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
7. Data Localisation
International users’ data is stored on servers located in the EU or US region, depending on availability and residency.
